Visitation and Funeral Service Information for Assistant Chief Faulkner
VISITATION:
Visitation will be on Friday, August 7th, from 4:00PM to 7:00PM at the Davison-Fulton-Woolsey-Wilton Funeral Home located at 2408 W Willow Knolls Dr, Peoria, IL 61614 (Southeast corner of Willow Knolls and Allen Road).
Firefighter’s walkthrough will begin at 6:00PM on Friday. Firefighters wishing to participate should arrive at the funeral home no later than 5:30PM on Friday in Class A uniform or Class B uniform with black dress slacks.
Social distancing rules will be enforced and masks will be required.
FUNERAL:
Funeral mass will be held on Saturday, August 8th, from 9:00AM to 11:00AM at St. Thomas Church, 904 E Lake St, Peoria Heights, IL 61616 (Southwest corner of Lake and Monroe). There will be a short visitation from 9:00AM to 10:00AM with funeral mass running from 10:00AM to 11:00AM.
There will be a funeral procession from St. Thomas Church to Swan Lake Cemetery (4601 W War Memorial Dr, Peoria, IL 61615) after the services. The current planned route is: East on Lake Street to Prospect, North on Prospect to Glen, West on Glen to War Memorial (passing Peoria Heights Station 1), West on War Memorial to Swan Lake. Outside departments will be allowed in the procession and should arrive at St. Thomas Church no later than 10:30AM if not attending the funeral mass.

Both Assistant Chief Faulkner’s family and the fire department greatly appreciate all of your kind thoughts and memories that have been posted over the past few days. It’s wonderful to see truly how many lives Don has touched over the years and helps us to remember what a truly great man he is. Please continue to keep his family and our department in your thoughts as we prepare to send this wonderful man home.
